Future badasses: Mad Hat

Being about 4 feet tall, people aren't sure whether Mad Hat is a tall midget or a very short normal person. What people do know for sure however, is that you'll get kicked in the face as soon as you make a joke about his height. This because this colorful fellow easily jumps distances and heights of 20 feet. And he doesn't let a chance slip by to do so, to catch up with the 'big people', to drop grenades on enemies, or to reach the buttons in those damn elevators.
He is a spastic, insane little man who likes everything that is flashy and loud, and makes sure he himself is that too.

The first noteworthy sightings of Mad Hat on Pandora were in the famous Underdome. He had his hopes and dreams set upon becoming the ring leader of what he called "this circus of death". Sadly enough for him, the foundress of the arena had already taken this position and wasn't planning on leaving for this shrimp who didn't have the audience entertaining qualities* she had.

Broke, hungry and extremely frustrated Mad Hat decided to end it all, and after grabbing some bombs and a stray chainsaw, he headed into the arena himself.
Amazed was he when he came walking OUT of the arena an hour later, his hands filled with newly aquired guns, cash and lots of explosives. His rather spastic and insane movements were hard to lead for even the most experienced gunman and Mad Hat soon forgot about that wench on the top of the tower and focused completely on slaughtering all in his path in the most flashy and loud ways.

Mad Hat soon grew tired of the confined space and restrictive rules of the arena and with a huge load of explosives and chain saw fuel he set out into the rest of Pandora seeking more cash, more boom and more laughter.


Mad Hat uses as weaponry primarily grenades and his chainsaw. He would love to have rocket launchers and big Torgue machine guns, but sadly enough he can't handle the knockback on those.
His fighting style revolves around the spastic unpredictable movements he has, and his active ability triggers/severely speeds up his jumping ability. This allows him to remain mostly unhit, jump over enemies dropping grenades on them or just lunge at them with a revved up chainsaw.
